I was first connected with tennis when I was 8 years old. Out of curiosity, I went to a local park to hit a few shots. Little did I know I would meet Barb Mueller, my first ever coach. Barb Mueller hold over 55 USTA national singles and doubles championships and was a finalist in the US open women’s 35. Furthermore, the head coach at The Ohio State University. She is one of the many people who have influeced me as a player on and off the court. From here, my game took off.
2017 goal: As a freshman, my goal was to make it to state. I achieved that, making it past the first round playing at 1 doubles for Oconomowoc going to the Wisconsin state tournament. My long term goal is to earn a scholarship to play at a college and study in the medical field, preferably at Ohio State
2018 goal: My goal as a sophomore is to make it past the first round of state for doubles again, and possibly making it to the past the third round
2019 goal: My goal for my upcoming junior year is to play 1 singles and go to state. Over summer, my goal is to train at Lake Geneva Tennis, play USTA tournaments to boost my UTR and state ranking in the girls 16’s, and hit with higher level, or college players
