Doing track was an accident, my best friend somehow convinced me to try it after our soccer season ended, and it was the best decision I made. I was completely ignorant to the fact that you could do something other than run in track and I quickly found some of my favorite events. Eventually I transitioned into doing a few running events as well and i fell in love with the thrill of sprinting. I fell in love with track and i've never regrettedted that decision. After I graduate high school I hope to get a degree in wildlife ecology and help with animal and nature conservation, and hopefully continue my track career.
