Personal Statement

I am a determined athlete looking for a chance to improve upon myself in college. I always give 100% effort and love trying new things even if its scary.  Currently I am a sprinter for Pea Ridge High school and I also run Cross country.  I am close with my team and coaches and want to make them proud, on and off the field. 

I am looking for a college fairly close to home and one where I have the opportunity to major in Business alongside being an athlete.  I am open to all kinds of schools but am specifically looking for a Christian college.  I have a 27 on the ACT and a GPA of 3.88. I spend a lot of my time on the field, staying late or going in on weekends, so I can learn new events or improve upon others.

My goals this year is to become a stronger sprinter and work on getting lower times, along with contacting college and finding the best fit for me.
