I have participated in track and field for five years. As a freshman, my 100 meter time was 12.74, and I placed 5 times throughout the season. My sophomore year, my time had gone down to a 12.53. As for my junior season, my time and personal record is a 12.38. My accomplishments from sophomore year consisted of placing first in the Southern Arizona Championships for the 100 meter and eleventh in the Division 1 Arizona State Track and Field Championships. I also made the 2016 All-Northwest Arizona Track&Field Team for the 100 meter, and the Arizona Daily Star Spring All-Star Second Team for the 100 meter. As for my junior year, I made the 2017 All-Northwest Team for the 100 meter. I also made the All Sports Tucson Division 2 Team for both 100 and 200 meter. I qualified for State Championships in all of my events. I made finals and placed ninth in the 100 meter.
After my freshman year, I worked very hard and was able to raise my GPA from a 2.9 to a 3.25 my sophomore year. It was at a 3.35 after junior year, and bow midway through senior year it is a 3.4. I fully intend to keep raising it until senior year. I am ranked 164/394 in my class. I scored 1100 on my SAT. I am hoping to forge a healthy relationship with not only a school that I am proud to be a part of and that I can proudly represent, but most importantly, a coach that I trust and with teammates that I can share my passion with.
