Sarah Hartshorn '18 Recruiting Profile

I have loved running as long as I can remember.  The highlight of my running career, so far, was when I made it to state meet as a sophomore.  The only thing that could have made this experience better is if my team had gone with me. I love challenges and continually search out ways to challenge myself, both athletically and academically.  My current goal is to help my team win every league meet again this year and make it to state for the first time.

I believe I have the talent, strength of character, and desire to make an immediate, positive impact on my college team.  I look forward to my college adventure and continuing to grow in my experience with different distances and events.  Although I can currently compete in anything from 400 to 5,000 meters, I believe my strongest events will ultimately be the 5,000 and 10,000 meters.
