Mikala Mcclain '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Mikala McClain. I am currently a senior at Clovis West High School. I have participated in other sports such as Volleyball and Basketball. But my overall main sport has always been Track and Field. I hope to continue running in college and possibly participate in the Olympics. My main inspirations are Florence Griffith-Joyner, Sanya Richards Ross, Allyson Felix, Usain Bolt and Gabrielle Douglass. Even though Gabrielle Douglass isn't a sprinter she was still so inspiring at the 2012 Olympics. At such a young age she put in all the work to become a world champion. As a student athlete i can maintain excellent grades and still be a team player. Coaches say I am easily coachable and can take constructive criticism . Adding me to your team will make a great asset to the team.
