Caroline Roncalli '14 Recruiting Profile

This year I hope to improve my marks for all of my events. In triple jump I plan to hit 38'. In Long Jump 18', in High Jump 5' 2", I started training for Pole Vault less than a year ago, but I am now working with a private coach and plan to attempt 12' this season. I also plan to break 60 seconds for my leg of the 4 X 400 relay. By hitting these marks, I hope to be seen as a highly competitive Division II athlete. I also hope that Division I schools will consider me.

I was a competitive gymnast for 12 years, I made it to State as a level 7 USAG athlete and to nationals for three years as a silver/gold IGCUSA athlete. This experience and diverse skill set will allow me to compete as a heptathlete, or in any number of individual events in college.

My college education is very important to me. I want to study Sports Medicine. This subject interests me because of my interest in science and my love of athletics.

In the future I would like to be a Sports Medicine doctor. This career choice is important to me because I believe all athletes should be able to continue to participate in sports as a life long endeavor.
