At the collegiate level, I would like to compete for the team and possibly score points for the team. I would really like to compete in the 400 and 800 for Women’s Track. I am a good candidate for your team because I bring a positive and optimistic outlook on opportunities, the personality of a leader, along with my teams and unwillingness to give up. As far as my character, I am a go getter and I wouldn’t want to do anything to discourage or hurt another person’s opportunity to achieve success. Academically, I have participated in a program called A.V.I.D. for the past 6 years. A.V.I.D. stands for Advanced via Individual Determination, which is a class that focuses on getting me college ready and eligible. As far as athletics go, I have been a Varsity athlete all three year that I have been in high school, in both Cross Country and Track. I have attended the CIF Cross Country State meet all three years and I went to the CIF Southern Section Prelims for Track last Year (my Sophomore year) and I was the difference between winning or losing against our rivals, Great Oak High School.
