2014 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I started running when I was 13 and ever since then I've only gotten more passionate about it. On the track is where I'm happiest and where I belong, so running at the collegiate level was an obvious next step for me.
I train year round and I'm dedicated to being the best athlete that I can be. I always give 100% no matter what. My dedication also lies in leading my teammates to greatness. The highlight of my career so far has been qualifying for the state championship meet with my 4x400 team my sophomore year. I have also been a captain on my team since my sophomore year and I continue to lead by example.
Off the track, I am also looking forward to furthering my education and continuing to study hard. I am looking for a college that will continue to push me on and off the track. I am keeping an open mind about which college I want to attend and want to find one that will be a good fit for me and for the school.
