My name is Bryanna Fuller and I attend Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, California. I am a senior and will be graduating in June of 2015. I am a cross country and long-distance track runner. I am very dedicated when it comes to running and school. After I went through an injury during my last cross country season I became determined to get stronger and increase my previous 1600m PR of 5:13, much lower. I ended my season with a 1600m PR of 5:07.05. My current cumulative GPA is 3.77 and I’m working very hard to get that up higher with the three AP classes I am taking this year. The 1600 is my strength in track and I see myself improving this time to below the 5:00 minute mark in this upcoming track season. When looking at my times throughout high school it is evident that I never stop improving and that I am working harder and harder every year. I plan to maintain that same attitude in my last cross country and track season and well into my college years. I will work as hard as I can to make a positive contribution to the team and I am more excited than ever to be a college runner.
I am very interested in running both track and cross country in college and I am looking for a school with a solid academic program as well as a challenging track and cross country program. I am a very determined and easy to coach athlete that is always aiming to succeed. I have a positive attitude on and off the track/ course. I love my sport and I can't wait to be surrounded by teammates who have the same passion for running and academics.
I am a part of many different organizations at my school and in my community including; the associated student body (student government), Peer Counseling, National Charity League, Honors Humanities official essay tutor, the treasurer of the "Feed the Children Club," and president of The Stable club. Many of these organizations have a lot of story behind them so if you are interested in knowing more about what interests me, I would love to talk to you about all of my activities. I also work at Tillys when possible and I feel that I have learned a lot through my first job. These extra curricular activities greatly reflect my personality and my goals in life. I am very interested in majoring in business or sports psychology. I strive to live up to my own expectations in life so I will continue working hard to become successful in this next stage of my life.
