Kaitlyn Wood '17 Recruiting Profile

I began my running at the age of seven and developed the love for running from my Dad who is also a runner. I began competing in the 1500m with our local track club and have been running distance events ever since. I love running and have a strong desire to compete at the college level and plan to compete throughout my adult life. I have two young brothers who I truly love and adore. I feel that I am a positive roll model and influence on both of them and would do anything for them. Through my years of running I have learned how to work well with others and by being a captain of my high school cross country program I have developed communication and leadership skills. Running has shaped me into the person I am today by never giving up and pushing myself in everything I do.
