Dear coaches,
My name is Yasmine Soliman, I am currently 16 years old and attend Simi Valley HS. Not to mention my involvement in cross country and track and field. Since elementary school, I have been interested in the sciences and mathematics and one day hope to pursue a career driven towards those fields. However, I have not quite pinpointed the exact career I will one day pursue, leaving me to keep open to various opportunities. I dream of changing peoples lives in any ways I can, whilst upholding a steady job to support myself and my family. Being new to the sport of running, I am painstakingly slowly making discoveries and trying to improve myself, meanwhile learning new things everyday. I feel I have accomplished alot in these past 3 years of running and aspire to become the best athlete I can be both mentally and physically. Throughout my running career, I have had my share of injuries 3 of them in total, 2 of them complete freak accidents. But no matter the struggle I have pushed to move past them and keep on improving. My goal out of everything is to get in the 18 minute range for XC and for Track to just get under my current PRs.
