As I am starting my Senior year, I have had time over the summer to reflect my choices and go over my goals in Cross Country. I have been running competitively since third grade and love it. I have always loved running and participating in a team environments and work towards a goal. I was truly moved by watching the London Olympics unite the world as I faced the end of my high school career. What I really learned from the Olympics is wanting to accomplish the goals that I set for myself, and being as successful as the athletes who are determined to win it. I hope to gain a great experience through running and have learned many things about leadership and great sportsmanship. I have also learned that having a great experience isn't just about winning, but about celebrating it with the people who helped you get there.
