Freshman year was my first real year of running track, but I was recovering from an injury that prohibited me from running competitively in 8th and 9th grade. Sophomore year has been a year that I was allowed to run in more invitationals, took many more medals, and ultimately got more experience as an athlete. My goal for junior year is to keep improving and to be a leader on the team, as well as beginning to learn how to be a better coach to newer athletes. I pride myself on my improvements and PRs, given the circumstances and I'm motivated to work even harder. You get out what you put in, after all. I love to run, and I intend to run in college; I want to get as far as I can in the sport. I'm looking forward to an even better season this upcoming spring.
