I've started running track when I entered high school as a freshman and loved it ever since I stepped onto the track field. In my first year running track, I've went to state with my sprint medley relay team, finishing fourth in the state. This experience led me on to running harder and stronger, touching base with my coaches in the weight room and out of practice. I come in early on Saturday mornings to lift weights and run on my own time. My goal by the end of my senior year is to push myself in sprinting, so that I can break a school record in any sprint. I am a very competitive and hard working student athlete who balances my time in school and sports since I'm also involved with two other varsity sports. I'm going to continue my leadership with my fellow teammates and commit to track and field through college. With this, I'm hoping that I can find a future in track as an athlete.
