Personal Statement
My Name Is Tara Noelle Resignolo and I want to achieve the dream of college athletics. I am a hard-working athlete determined to achieve my goals without fear. As an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme student, homecoming court nominee and varsity athlete I understand what it means to be a well rounded character.
My love for athletics grew my sixth grade year running track and cross country. Despite having a cement track at Summit high school to practice on I continue to dream of the opportunity to run on rubber. With a professional coach and a chance to wear spikes I know that I can improve tremendously. As team captain of both the cross country ski team and track team I show my team spirit and develop leadership skills vital to my future goals. Living in beautiful Breckenridge Colorado, I was lucky enough to have the chance to join a skiing community. Cross country skiing shaped me into an athlete who saw the dream of achieving the unthinkable. Recently returning from 2018 Junior Nationals I received the second fastest anchor leg of all U18 females and showed I meant business. I want to take a step to the next level and have the support to be the athlete I know I can be. I am involved in the student government as well as numerous clubs and find joy in being apart of the community. I would make a great addition to any team because of the positive attitude, focus, enthusiasm and passion I hold.
