Allegra DeVoe '21 Recruiting Profile

Allegra means fast and I fully intend on living up to my name. I have found a passion for speed and have gotten hooked on going to practice every day, working on my own, and doing everything within my power to be the fastest possible. I have always had a competitive spirit and I'm up for any challenge. Running has allowed me to discover who I am. Not only have I been able to find myself through exercise, but I have met some of the best people on the track, many even at the starting line. In my eyes, a team is like a family -- we depend on one another, support each other, and add our unique differences to create something beautiful, meaningful and unstoppable. It is hard to imagine my life without a team, or without exercise, which is why it is so valuable to me that I find a college that I can represent at meets, whose name I can chant with my teammates, and where I can reach my peak performance in my running career.
