Personal Statement

I've been an active member of the running community since I was 12 years old. I partook in multiple community 5Ks and ran with a small running team in middle school. When I attended high school, I intimately made it onto the varsity team, constantly ranking 4th on the girls teams. When I became a Junior, I took the position of Varsity Captain for the girls cross country team.  I've been very fortunate throughout the years with receiving no injuries. I balance an intense academic schedule (AP, Dual Enrollment, and Honors) , sports (Cross Country and Track), and a few clubs (National Honors Society, and Chemistry Club) .
