Gaby Duncan-Smith...Personal Statement
From the moment I started running track, I instantly fell in love with the sport. Track is what drives me in many other areas of my life. It has taught me to always give 100% in everything that I do. The competitive nature of track has allowed me to become a determined, focused, and disciplined individual. I carry these traits off the track and into the classroom. I am an honors student and I also take dual enrollment classes at a local college. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to graduate with a 4-year degree so that I can peruse a career in the medical field while also becoming a stronger runner. Outside of school and track, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and I enjoy traveling and experiencing new things.
