Holly Ebbets '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Holly Ebbets and pole vaulting is my life. I have been pole vaulting ever since I was in 8th grade, and practice at least 3 times each week.  As a freshman I won my region got 2nd runner up in state, as a sophomore I got first in region and was state champ. My goal is to continue to win state champ as a junior and senior and also break the 4A state record. I practice with a club team called World Class Sports LTD, we practice year round and attend indoor and outdoor meets. I have accomplished many awards in these meets as well. Ever since I started pole vaulting it has been my dream to pole vault in college and maybe even go to the olympics one day. Also my brother is a pole vaulter for UGA and I would like to jump in college just like him. I am a hardworker and never give up. I really have no idea where I would like to attend college yet, but definatly somewhere where there is a good track facility both inside and out. I am open to any time of school, but i am leading to a bigger one. I have managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA while taking AP and honor courses and will strive to maintain this GPA in college, because i hope to major in biology and get into med school. My goals are to get into a good college and vault there. I hope to vault with the hardest level of competition to make myself strive to be the best. I am an outgoing, all-around, athlete and plan to find the right college for me!
