Personal Statement
Ever since I could remember it has been a goal of mine to continue whatever sport I was doing into college. I have always viewed competing in college as really making it in to the next level, and I am fully willing to work as hard as I can to allow myself to get where I want to be. I was a competitive swimmer for 10 years, and during that time swimming in college was my goal. However, things tend to change and I had to stop swimming. Instead, I decided to take on running my freshmen year of high school. Once I realized my talent for it, running in college became my new focus, and I am still determined to do so. As a coach, I know you want talented and completely dedicated athletes, and I am fully willing to dedicate myself as much as I possibly can, not only in running but as a student as well. It is in my nature to give everything I have to something I care about, and the school that allows me to run for them will receive my upmost diligence and commitment.
