Personal Statement
My name is Rose Gamamou. I am a junior from Iowa City, Iowa. I am 5'3" and weight 125lbs. My main events are High jump, 100m, 200m, and the 400m, along with being anchor in my 4x1, 4x2, & second leg in the 4x4. My personal record in High jump is 5'61/2". I've been conference champ in high jump for 3 consecutive years. I enjoy jumping & running and would like the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.
In academics, I enjoy my Math, english, business classes. I am hoping to go into a business major such as Entrepreneur, Finance, Accounting, or Sports management. I'm hoping to attend a university that offers these majors/ fields of studies.
Track & field has taught me how to be dedicated and value hard work. I honestly believe that this sport is a good source of discipline!
