I started running track in the 7th grade and have participated in the sport ever since. I was on the varsity track team all four years of high school and was very successful. I love the challenges that track throws at me, both mentally and physically. l am a hard worker and love being coached by someone who will push me and help me reach my full potential. I am a coachable athlete and a positive and uplifting teammate. I enjoy the team aspect that track provides but also like knowing that I'm the only one that can control what happens in my race or event. I love the feeling of reaching a goal or beating a personal record and I'm excited to push myself further by pursuing collegiate track.
I have always been a good student and school is very important to me. I believe that being involved in athletics has helped me be successful academically. I hope to be able to find a school that will help me achieve my academic goals.
I am excited for and look forward to the college experience and I am looking for a school that will help me find success in the classroom as well as my athletic pursuits.
