Personal Statement
I would be an excellent candidate for your team, as I am committed to track and field. I have high goals set for myself. I hope to be a state champion shot putter and discus thrower. Each summer I have worked to earn money to attend the camps, to further my throwing skills. I go to school early to throw before school during the off season. I enjoy lifting weights and working out. I am a good student, and a good citizen in the community. I am currently enrolled in honor classes, and am also earning college credit through my high school. I have two part time jobs as well. I am active in many different clubs in our school, and am active in my church youth group. I have many volunteer hours in my community as I am active in the 4H organization, and through my church youth group. I enjoy interacting with other people in my school and in the community. I am dependable, responsible, hard working, and a person of integrity. I am a team player, and often help the younger athletes on our team. I would make a great addition to your winning team with my hard working, positive attitude.
