Brittany Holst '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Brittany Holst and I am a currently a junior in college.  I spent my first two years of college at the University of Iowa studying Biology with a focus in Cell and Development, leading towards a track for Pre-Physician Assistant.  At the end of my sophomore year I had a personal best of 11'1 outdoors and 11'4" indoors.  I competed at both Indoor and Outdoor Big Ten Championships.  I am a part of the University of Iowa Top Ten All-Time Record Board, sitting third with my Indoor personal best.  I was a letter winner at the end of my sophomore year.  Academically, I have a cumulative GPA of 2.79 out of 4.00. My strongest characteristics are my work ethnic, leadership and positive attitude I understand the commitment that success requires both on and off the field. I love painting, reading, water sports and movies. Beyond my desire to continue my sport in college; I look forward to receiving my masters in Biology while I work toward a masters in Physician Assistant.  I am looking for a school that will allow me to achieve whatever goals I set in front of me, as well as prepare me to succeed in life.
