Personal Statement

I will be a 2014 high school graduate from Rockford, Illinois. I have been competing since I was in sixth grade and have a burning desire to continue to run and compete at the college level. I run during the summer in club track programs. I am looking forward to watching the summer Olympics in London on tv for the track aspect. I am a running junkie! I have always enjoyed running track and the competitve edge it takes, however my freshman year of high school I was recruited to run cross country. I was amazed how much I really enjoy the different challenges that cross country offers. I went down state my first year for cross country, it was a great thrill. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match.
