I have grown up in a family that loves sports. I have been taught that Religion, Family, and Academics come first. But sports are right there with those. I set high goals for myself in all sports I play, whether its a basketball game or a cross country meet. Every day I strive to make better than the day before. With athletics that makes it possible. If you don't do as well as you have planned, you can always do better in the next game or meet. Graduating from high school will be a big step in my life but i realize i am stepping into something even bigger. One of my goals is to go to college and get a business degree. Another goal would be to run at the collegiate level.
If you were to talk to any of my teachers, family, or youth pastors they would all tell you that i like to have fun. They would say she is all about her friends. The more friends the better. This is how i differ from many. I get along with anyone and everyone and that is part of the reason why i do so well in a team environment. I always have a positive attitude and always strive to get better individually and as a team. I have been taught that school is a priority, so my studies are important. God is also a big part of my life. In all the sports i participate in, i incorporate my religion to bring us closer as a team. I pray for the team before every sporting event.
I am a four sport athlete. But Cross Country is my favorite. I love cross country because it is a team sport as well as an individual sport. Ive always felt that my cross country team has always became closer that my other teams, almost like a family. I have made all county all four years of high school placing 3rd every year but my senior year i won. I have made all conference all four years of high school as well placing 3rd the first 3 years and second my senior year. I made it to regionals as a team my Freshman year. I made it to regionals individually my Sophomore year. My Junior and Senior year i made it to semi-state as an individual.
