Emma Smith '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emma and I am currently a junior at Harrison High School. I currently have many goals. My main goal concerning track is to run at the state meet and later on, get into a division 1 or division 2 college. I am an extremely determined person and I will do whatever it takes to reach my goals. This determination also carries over into my grades where I strive to achieve straight A's. I currently am involved in Spanish Quiz bowl at my school and I also regularly volunteer at my old elementary and middle schools. I am a very cautious, detail oriented individual and I always make sure that I give 110% effort for everything that I do. I have learned many things from being on a team. I have learned to become a leader when it is needed, to admit my mistakes when I make them, and also to be humble as every victory is a team victory, not just a personal win.
