2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Have you ever had that feeling of pure accomplishment? Knowing you finally defeated the barrier in front of you. That's what running feels like to me. The barriers are my goals and I will do nothing but my best to get over that barrier and meet my goals.
My willingness to take on any and all challenges that are given to me is second to none. As a Freshman and Sophomore I was able to help lead my team all the way to the 2015 and 2016 4A Iowa State meets. My commitment on and off the track has earned me All Conference honors both my Freshman and Sophomore years.
I carry over that same commitment into the classroom as well. Continuing my education is very important to me as I prepare for a life after college. I am looking forward to challenging myself academically as well as athletically.
