Hi, my name is Bryanna Lucas, I'm a sophomore at Central High School in Louisville, Kentucky. I've been running track for almost 3 years. I started my 8th grade year. i ran the 4x1, 4x2, and the 200m. After track season was over in middle school, i started running AAU track&field with Westside Track Club. I started running 400 meter dash. When I first came to Central I all I ran was the 400m and the 4x4. It wasn't until outdoor I started to run the 800 meter dash. I kind of shocked myself when I came 2nd in 3A Kentucky State Championship as a freshman. By the end of my sophomore year I want to be the 800m Kentucky State Champion with the time of 2:08 or better. I positive attitude, I'm hard working, and I'm a good role model. Last year, freshman year I came 2nd in the State in my 800m. To be honest I don't know what I want to be when I grow up. What I do know is that I love running. I can't go a long time without running. I run because it's something that I love to do. It makes me forget about my personal problem. Little kids at Westside Track&Field ask me how do I run so fast and win my races... You have to want it bad enough. You shouldn't wanna run because your parents made you or it's what makes other people happy. You should wanna run because it's something you can't live without.
