I am Kaci Wall, and I am a Gifted and Talented Theater student for the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). In my free time, I enjoy running track and field and making new friends. My main goal in life is to set an example for other kids, so that they can be the best that they can be. My main academic and athletic objective is to maintain motivation even under pressure. Even though getting up in the morning and going for a run is difficult and tends to be lonely, I still push myself so that I can achieve my goals. I constantly get myself motivated to run and maintain consistency, because I want to be the best I can be. When I get the chance to run alongside others and cheer each other on as we set new personal records, I feel whole. This makes me a strong contender because I'm always ready to assist, whether it's with an injury or if someone just needs to talk.
I'm always available if someone needs to talk, and I take every opportunity to promote the team's image. I believe that my willingness to lead by example in moving the team forward sets me apart from other players. I like playing this role because I can speak up for the team members who don't have a voice and represent them so that things can improve in the future. I believe I demonstrate good character in the classroom because I consistently prioritize my work over my extracurricular activities. The student in student-athlete will always come first, even though athletics will play a significant role in my future.
I've always wanted to have a significant impact on those around me. To influence others and appear in a movie are two of my main career objectives that will allow me to make an impact. I want to major in theatrical arts or acting, and when I achieve this degree, I'll feel like my life is complete. Whether it be on the screen or off, this degree will move me closer to achieving my biggest goals.
When I was younger, I recall watching television shows and movies and feeling completely different afterward. I hope to make that kind of impact on both kids and adults, especially my younger brother. The feeling that my younger brother can be anything he wants is something else I want to create for him through my career. He already exhibits traits that I do, yet he challenges me to improve myself and keep my main goal in mind. Again, my mother is my biggest cheerleader when it comes to acting. Even if I appear briefly on film, she will always be there to drive me to the shootings or host a large viewing party. It's great to have someone like that to give you a boost to achieve your goals. Despite her desire for me to excel academically, she also encourages my interests in the arts, which is very important to me. All I've ever wanted to do is contribute to society, and I believe that becoming an actress will greatly assist me in achieving this since it will provide me a platform from which to encourage others.
