I have been running competitively since I was in the first grade. At Nine years old I ran my first road race and fell in love with the sport. Ever since, I have been running both competitively on my schools cross country and track teams, along with on my own for the enjoyment of it. My coaches named me Captain of both the girls cross country and track teams in my sophomore year, I currently hold the position on both teams. I consider myself to be a hard worker both on and off the course/ track. I am easily coached and am open to constructive criticism and advice when it comes to racing strategies and running techniques. I believe the most important quality that should be found in a team is support and hard work, and I am willing to offer both of these things to any team that I am on.
As far as competing goes, I have had some personal achievements that were the result of hard work. During the recent outdoor track season, I made it to the all state meet after placing second at the district meet with a PR time of 11:36. In The recent cross country season, I came in first at the league meet and became the league champion for the third year in a row, and have gone to states four times.
I am not afraid to give it my all and strive to be the best student athlete that I can be. When it come to school work, I strive to complete assignments diligently and completely to the best of my ability. I know what I am capable and will not allow myself to turn in assignments that are sub-par.
