Personal Statement

On the collegiate level I am ready to train alongside a competitive, hardworking team. I know what hard work is, and I will only work harder with more experience. I am a very dedicated and committed runner who does not get intimidated by weather. I learned how to properly manage my time between school, sports, work, family, and community service.

One of my teammates and myself just planned a very successful 5K memorial run for my Cross Country teammate Brittany Murch and her scholarship fund. Running has earned a large spot in my heart, and life, I am not willing to give up. I will do whatever it takes to compete and run on the collegiate level. I never want to imagine my life without the adrenaline of a race.
