Ariel Wilbekin '16 Recruiting Profile

I was always told that I was fast but I would utilize my speed in other sports that I played including soccer and basketball. When I entered high school I had the opportunity to initiate my track career. I have been running varsity track now for three years and have improved drastically from my freshman year. My family recently relocated to California for my senior year and I now attend Castro Valley High school. My skills and technique are being developed under the coaching of Dooney Jones who has produced numerous jumping champions that have become collegiate student athletes. I am hopeful that the daily training I am receiving under Coach Jones will allow me to achieve new personal records in the upcoming season and reach my goal of competing at the collegiate level while pursuing a degree in business/communications.
