Track is a widely done sport and being a track athlete means you need to stand out from others.  Making goals and achieving them is a big part of how I accomplish that.

When I start a track season I set my mind to what I want to accomplish and I get there, and that’s why I am a great track athlete, I keep my mind set to that goal and I work hard to achieve it. 

I bring spirit and determination to my team and encourage my teammates as well, because track means a lot to me and we need a positive environment so we can all achieve our goals. 

While track is one priority and something I look forward to, I also focus on my academics and making sure that I am always on top of things and working to spend time with family and friends along the way.
