Greeting Coaches,

My name is Dominique Jeffery and I'm a dedicated hardworking student-athlete attending Henry E. Lackey High School located in Indian Head, Maryland. I want to be involved in a program that helps me grow as an athlete and a student. I have taken multiple honors and AP courses during my time as a high school student so I hope to continue to be challenged throughout my college years. My academic goals during my collegiate career is to be a Physical Therapist and Major in Biology. My athletic goal is be a part of Track Program where I can contribute to the success of the team winning various championships, while become a conference champion and eventually an NCAA All American. I know with hard work, dedication, and support I can achieve these goals. I don't give up easily and adjust to the obstacles in the way of me achieving my goals. During a particular time in my indoor track career, I hit a low point in my life when I was on my way to winning my first individual state title, but fell during the last 10 meters. The following outdoor season I really focused on improving myself in understanding the technical aspects of my events because of my coachable attitude, dedication a hard work ethic, competitive nature, and leadership skills. This paved the way to understanding what it takes to help my team win back-to-back outdoor state team titles. I look forward to hearing from you.
