Personal Statement
I started to track my freshman year and went to districts for the 55m dash. Since then I have hurt my knee (stressed tendons). I have not been able to run in 2 years but I have been able to throw shot put. I just started throwing shot put 2 years ago and quickly became a top thrower. I am currently varsity captain helping as much as I can. Although I can't run at the moment I am working on weight lifting and working on the elliptical, to improve my muscle mass for throwing.
