I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA, am enrolled in several advanced placement and honors classes, and have earned eight varsity letters in soccer, track and field and cross country. I am ranked in the top 1% of my high school class and plan to major in engineering. Running for a college track/cross country program would complete my college experience. Although I played soccer and basketball until I entered high school, I have since dropped each of these sports to focus on track and field/cross country and I currently hold six of my high school's track and field school records. I began high mileage training the summer before my junior year to prepare for my first cross-country season and I believe the extra mileage and my focus on running will result in improved times through my senior year and into college.
