My goals are to run cross country and/or track in college. I just started running about a year ago for the first time and already, I have qualified for states in many events in track and for cross country. I believe that hard work and motivation is key to success. Ever since I started running, I have set goals in front of me and strive to achieve every single one of them. I am different from other recruits seeing as I can improve in a short amount of time. I think I am doing well for somebody my age who just started running a year ago. If I were to do cross country or track in college, I could improve much more. I also am a very good student. I am in our school's interact club and CAKE club. CAKE stands for caring acts of kindness everyday. Also, I am on the school's math team. I am taking all honors classes and one AP course as a sophomore. I am in a higher level of math than most sophomores. Currently, I am taking Pre-Calculus Honors. Also, as far as athletics go, in all of the sports I do: cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track, I have been the strongest distance girl on my teams and have gained frontrunner status. I think my motivation will take me far in life and that I would be a great addition to a collegiate team.
