My name is Kenzie Callahan and I have a great desire to run in college. I'm a 5'6, 125 lbs mid-distance runner. From the first time I competed in my first track meet, I fell in love with the sport. I have a 3.9 GPA and a very hard worker. Although track and field is mostly an individual sport, I would be no where I am today without my teammates. I've had numerous ups and down with an injury during cross country but more excited to prove myself in fall of 2014. I have competed in the state meet for the 4x4 and have big goals for this upcoming track season! I am aiming for a school record in the 1600m and 4x4. By this year, I am working towards being an All-State athlete for track and field. Running truly brings the best of me and I want to proceed it in college. I want to make an impact to my team.
In college, I'm very interested in physical therapy and personal training. I know many school with great kinesiology programs that I think could prepare me for numerous jobs. Anything I can do to change people's lives and make a different is the type of career I would love to persue.
