I am an athlete striving for greatness. Everything that I do is done to the fullest and done with 100% effort.
I have ran track since I was in 7th grade, but I never really took it seriously until freshman year when I realized I was kind of good at the sport. What makes me different from others, however, is that I never planned to take track to the next level because no high school coaches have pushed me to make more of it. Every year since 7th grade track I have endured a new coach. I received a new head coach three years in a row, and a completely new coaching staff altogether my junior year (this year). Coaches, previously, have known that I am a hard-worker and I will do whatever it takes to be the best I can be and make myself a better athlete and teammate. In contrast, my new coaches this year didn't know what to expect with the team or the athletes or me in general. I began the season by showing the new coaches that I take this sport very seriously and nothing will change my drive for the sport.
I am completely willing to put in any work that I need to make it to the next level, whether it be harder training workouts, better diet, or just more sleep. I will do anything for anyone who believes that I can do something great, because I believe the same for me.
