Grace Tyson '23 Recruiting Profile

I want to continue my athletic and academic career in college.    A competitive club swimmer for 11+ years has taught me the value of hard work, sacrifice, and goal setting.    I have fallen in LOVE with running, since I started just 3 years ago as a freshman in high school.     I want to run in college and ready to devote all I have to the sport and in the classroom.    I am most proud of what I (along with 3 teammates) accomplished in 2020 during the COVID uncertainty.  We trained for 7 months straight with no promise of a season or anything.    We just continued to train.  This hard work delivered a team XC State Championship !   I am also proud of two individual State Championships won in 2021 -   3200m  (track) and XC.    I am focused on refining my form and technique and excelling in the classroom.
