Hi my name is Ashley Cordero! I am currently a senior at Totino-Grace High School in Fridley, Minnesota. I have been on the Varsity Girls Soccer Team and Varsity Track Team for four years now. I am known for the positivity I bring to both teams and have been given the name Smiley by my coaches and peers. Ever since I was little, I have had a competitive spirit in every aspect of my life; including academics. I also was born with a strong self-motivation to strive for excellence. I am my worst critic and I have high expectations for myself. I love track because I have learned so many life lessons from it. Track has taught me to never be a quitter. If I start something, I will finish it no matter what. I have also learned to believe in myself and trust that if I set my mind to something, I will accomplish it. I love to set goals and see myself accomplish them. I get the most happiness and self-gratification from this. I would be the perfect candidate for your school because I am willing to take whatever challenge you put in front of me and I will give everything I have for the program.
