I am a currently heading into my senior year at Billings Central Catholic High School in Billings, Montana and I have run varsity track for two years. This year proved to be a success for me as I was able to shave time off of my mile with each meet that I participated in. I was proud to be able to win our division in the mile and place 3rd in the 2 mile. I have also played varsity soccer for three years with state titles for each of those three years.
These past two years that I have participated in track, I developed such a passion for it that I started to look into running at the college level. One of my main goals is to be able to have the chance to run at the division one level. To help me achieve that goal I have several smaller goals that I hope to accomplish during this last year of high school. I am working towards running a 5 minute mile and an 11:40 two mile. I also am trying to get an 18 minute 5k. Rather than playing soccer my senior year, I have decided to join the Cross Country team for the first time to help me achieve my running goals.
Academically, I want to be able to maintain my 3.9 GPA and attend a college or university with a strong academic program. Challenging myself in this way will help me achieve my dream of becoming a successful architect.
