Abbey Paulson '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior in High School and will be graduating in 2018.  I have been involved in athletics since I was 4 years old, including 10 years as a gymnast (level 7).  I am very motivated to compete at the next level in track and field.  My primary event is the triple jump but I have also competed in the long jump, 4x1, 4x2, and 4x4 relays. 

What sets me apart from most high school athletes is that I am a 3 sport varsity athlete at a school where the enrollment is 2,594.  My senior year I was the starting Defensive Specialist on the Volleyball Team and I am currently the starting Point Guard on the Basketball Team.  Some of my accomplishments at the Varsity level during my junior year include:  Sierra League Triple Jump Champion, First Team All-Region Triple Jump (State Qualifier), Regional Final qualifier in Long Jump, named team Defensive MVP for the High School Basketball Team.

I am an extremely hard worker and never complain or shy away from any demand my coaches have placed on me.  I am also a good student with a GPA of 3.2 and I plan on majoring in Education.
