Personal Statement

I have been running since I was 7 years old and I fell in love with the sport immediately. I have participated in a total of 12 varsity seasons throught high school.  6 of those 12, I was captain.  Running for my high school was difficult at times due to the fact I had 9 different coaches throughout the 12 seasons.  And not 9 that overlapped, 9 coaches who many only coached for 1 season or even as little as a half of a season.  Despite that, I was/am very determined to achieve my goals on the track as well as the course.  I am also very determined to do well academically.  I put running and school before everything else and work to achieve the best possible for myself every single day.  I hope to pursue running in college and find a school that is a good fit for me!
