Personal Statement
Going into high school and running Varsity my Freshman year, with no track experience whatsoever, was more than a shock to both my parents and I. Being able to quickly move up from Freshman to Varsity encouraged and motivated me to keep pushing myself to be one of the best. It was and still is easy for me to jump into any event the team needs me to do. Being a reliable person, I was able to get into any event and push myself and do very well in it. I'm creative, outgoing, humorous and self-motivating. I know when it's time to be serious and when it's time to have fun. When things get tough or frustrating in my life, I know to keep giving it 100 percent in whatever I have to do. I want to be able to leave college knowing that I have contributed the the success of the team whether it is minor or major. Once I leave I want to pursue Film/Television/MassCommunications. I've learned that no matter what you have to keep pushing yourself, mentally and physically. Giving it my all to the very end and being proud of what I do is the big goal all around.
