2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hello, my name is Meghan Corso. I am a 5'5 hurdler and sprinter from Wayne Valley High School in Wayne, New Jersey. I will be graduating in 2018 and have just completed my third year as a member of the varsity track team. I qualified for the State Group 3 Meet in New Jersey in both winter and spring track for the 55MH and 100MH and qualified for the NJ Meet of Champions in the 55MH.
I have always had the desire and the passion for succeeding in academics and athletics. I am looking for a higher level institution that offers me the best opportunity to excel in the classroom as well as athletically. I would like to pursue a degree in mathematics and business. In both athletics and academics, I believe that with hard work I can achieve my goals. I have always been a team player to younger athletes on the team and coaches look to me as a leader of the team. My goal is to bring these leadership qualities with me to the next level of competition. I have a love for the sport of track and field and look forward to continuing my career in track.
