My full name is Aphiniti Breon Crupper. I am currently attending V Sue. Cleveland High school as a senior, class of 2018. I am a track athlete (sprinter). My events consist of the 100m, 200m, 4x100m, 4x200m, 4x400, and medley relay. My personal favorite is the 200m. Its not too short nor too long, it's perfect and challenging. My P.R. is a 24.97 and i definitely plan on dropping that time, and shattering the school record which is a 24.65.
My goal is to make it to a college that will compliment my career choice as well as my track career. My education most definitely comes first, if a school cannot offer courses to help me get to where I'd like to be as a physical therapist and/or FBI agent, i have to let that school go even if the track program is phenomenal. Track is most definitely a priority as well. My goal is to find a school that compliments both, and i plan on doing that.
What sets me aside from other recruits as far as character, athletics, and academics is unknown. There may be someone out there who is just as good as me if not better than i am. I can't exactly express i am better, smarter or faster than others but i can tell you i am hard working, optimistic, intelligent, and ready to start on the road of becoming a productive member of society. I am ready to take what my parents have instilled in me and applying all I've learned to the real world.
Track has always been a large part of my life. I have been running since i was 10 years old. I've had some fall backs in my career (injuries) that only made me want to work harder to remain on top. I tore majority of the ligaments in my ankle playing basketball, and had to sit out a whole year and a half of track until i was fully healed. That next year (2017) i worked hard, and became the state champion in the 100m and 200m. God was definitely testing me to see if i would continue, and i did. It wasn't easy but i did it, and it was all because i was hungry, i was still driven to be the best. Hard work most definitely pays off in the end.
Overall i am extremely excited to be entering the real world, to be running at the collegiate level, and to start my career. The time has come to prove myself and i plan on doing so. God has blessed me with this gift and i want to use it until i no longer can.
