Personal Statement
My goals and aspirations are like any other athlete that has a future ahead of them, I aspire to break records that haven't been broken in years, to have fun while doing it, and to be an inspiration to other athletes around the globe. All while being humble and grateful about it. Making sure to appreciate and take in all of the valuable moments I have been blessed with. The reason why I'd be a good candidate for any collegiate team is because I have a different kind of mental state, a different kind of discipline to bring to the table, an uncommon competitiveness and respect. I make sure everyone and anyone of same or different talent and capability get their share of glory and inclusion in the team. Because running is an individual sport, but it's the team that brings the numbers to victory or sometimes loss. We all have talent and we all work hard, if that wasn't the case, we wouldn't be competing at the college level. My character is far more mature than my physical age, but of course I love to have fun. That's something I know makes a difference in my performance, I am enjoying it, no matter how tired I may be mentally or physically. When I run, I feel strong, powerful, appreciated and respected by others, and those are things that are special to me. Academics is something I am not the best at, I struggle here and there, but something that get's and keeps me motivated is the fact of how far I have come. I aspire to go to an incredible college that will help me to grow into a well- developed adult and athlete.
